Long, narrow, mid lock Classic Folding Knife. Such as you may have seen of the finest 19th century work.

image.jpg

This is a real Barnes Classic Pocket Folder. It has hand filed art work and Fluted Bolsters. Approx 9 1/8" open.

The scales are dyed natural bone.

BTW ... Just making that back clevis ring and tail leather takes most of two hours. This in an intensive project to make a project like this.

This Heirloom Quality Folding Knife is available at $1,100us.

Thank you for considering my work.

Gary

Gary,
It turned out beautiful, as expected.
And I'm sure that blade is SHARP. Be careful Julio!

This mechanism has a blade stud to make smooth, easy opening.

Excuse craftsman's afternoon nails ...

That knife came together nicely. Those hands could use some TLC however!

Hi Sal,

Yes - grease, oil, buffing compound, dye, acid, oh ..... and dirt ... Haha. I scrub them ten times a day with that abrasive shop grit goop. But a nice long vacation would be nice .... winking smiley

Very nice work as usual. Looks very time consuming. Definately a lot of experience mastered into the folding knife. smiling smiley
