This is what came to be known as a "Barnes Classic" folder. This one is about 6" overall, when opened. The file work, fluted bolsters, jigged bone, and extra fit and finish make it a special pc.

You will see pics of the top, bottom filework. The highly finished inside. Note new file work on the bottom where the blade folds into the case.

The stainless tool steel blade shows its temper line. The bone is real "jigged and dyed" traditional cow bone.

Thanks.. I just thew my Case XX folder in the trash... Just going to keep my leatherman no one expects that to look good..

All kidding aside it could be from 30 years ago. So many knives are over the top just for looks... This is the perfect mix of both worlds.
