This is the Model 97 I've been showing you in parts, recently.

I decided on a polished Sketer Tusk with Glass Beaded Hard Aluminum Frame. It's smooth and strong.

I'll post finished pics too. Here's two of the early pics.





It's now finished. You've seen the Acid Test!

$850us. I'll accept payments. On something like this, I need a minimum of approx $250/mo. IF you want it for Christmas, or you want to carry it for Christmas ... You make a couple of payments ... I'll ship it for Christmas. You take January off, finish afterward.

That's what I can do for readers. I can't work for less. But I can make good terms on completed work. Hope you like it.

Great knife and great video Gary!
I really like the side view of the knife scales the way they flare out in the middle to fit the palm . It would be so much easier to go flat but you always go that extra step . I m talking about ALL those little things you do on all your projects never taking the easy way . I'm also referring to the 3 part pivot rivet on my Barlow to save the pinecone engravings . I'm with Jeff and others with the polished scales and bead blasted aluminun look .
So many of the little things hafta be thought of in the initial stages but refined upon requirements that most fabricator/ artists would overlook them .

I suddenly have a bald spot on my arm! Sympathetic shaving! I use my 97 routinely and carry it everyday, still have not even thought about sharpening it!

Hey Gary,
Ya know, I still LOVE this knife... But that video makes me cringe. I know the knife survived well, but I would NEVER do that to one of mine. It's like scraping the fingernails across a chalk board or using Waterford crystal as a spitoon. I need to figure a way to get it in my pocket in order to protect it !
