This is a later Nitro Express, featuring the V-Twin Tower with an over sleeve of billet surrounding the bolt action.

The row of Head Bolts give the action a serious precision machined feeling, and the design allows for extremely long scope rails.

This 45 Nitro Express was shrouded. A very rare feature on one of my Nitro Express rifles.

ANitro5.jpg

The stock was carved Bastone Walnut.

You'll note the this Nitro Express Magnum and the Carnivore have similar features. However; Nitros are always 45 caliber ... and Carnivore are 58.

Thanks for taking a look. Hope you enjoyed it.

Ahhhh, got it . . . so the Carnivore is a .58 Nitro Express, correct? Kinda like a Tundra is a .45 Prairie.

I love seeing all of that billet . . . makes it look "massive." cooler

Kelly with Nitro Express 009.JPG

During the initial testing of this gun. This was with a light, fast slug.

My wife, Kelly, helped me with the range test. She's a crack shot.

When shooting the steel groundhogs, just for fun, this is all that's left. The rest expands, and then expodes in a star burst.
