It is always fun showing peole what REAL airguns can do!
We started with plinking cans at 15-20 yards.
When that got boring we set up some bottles and cans on top of a 5 gallon bucket at 60-70 yards.
In addition to being beautiful rifles, even at that distance both the Appaloosa and the Ranger are tack drivers.

Way to go Scott! Been waiting to see that brand new Appaloosa in action. Looks like you had some fun

Now - THAT's a deck! And a great place to shoot. Boy - I'd spend some time out there. I can shoot from my patio ... but only once or twice 'til the police arrive ...

We did not have any competition with the air rifles--only bragging rights! 
But, we did have an informal shotgun competition.
