It's been about 15F at night here with the wind just howling. Too darned cold.

The cold and rain (we had for a week) was about killing me. I'm late into the cycle of epidural injections but can't get more til January. All of it has been fun. I was able to get an appt. with a specialist pain Doc. we confired ... and I got yet another drug to add into the pharmacy I currently stock. Seemed it might help for a few days. Then it's tried to kill me with side effects. So .... more experimentation is required to get the mix right.

Just came in. 9:30. Kelly's off helping the grandkids - Mom working tonight and Dad in Korea. So; I've been working on Kelly's Christmas gift. Don't tell. Shhhhh.

Kelly sent me a funny video link a few days ago. About a guy that gave his wife a vacuum cleaner for Christmas (a nice double bag unit to boot!). The lady marched him out into the back yard and made him get into a large dog house. At which time, he tumbled down into an underground vaulted chamber where men were folding laundry! There was much discussion about how they got there. One had given his wife a thigh master. One had casually mentioned that the wife's Mother looked HOT in her bathing suit ....

There was a guy that had gone completely batty. He ran to and fro like a mad hatter. He'd call out ... "What's that on your lip?" ... he'd given his wife a mustache waxer ....

One had once gotten to go before a parole board ... and the stern women there had baited him into agreeing that ... perhaps ... a nice gym membership may have been better than the thigh master? And the guy agreed ... then quickly smelled the trap .... SLAM ... ... too late!!!!

It was funn..... TRAGIC .... that's what it was!!! And I got the video link!!!! So, if I live ... I've got to finish this ... magnificent gift! hahaha.

I can personally attest to this. Once my wife mentioned how neat immersion blenders were. So I thought that would make a great Christmas gift. I was wrong. I still hear about it to this day......and it happened 20 years ago!

Sorry to hear the pain is on top today. I'm sure you'll get it back under control.

Now i've been thinking about a unique gift for my wife Kelli and need some expert advice. The thoughts have been revolving around a combo drill, lathe and milling machine. Some of you are currently owners of said machinery and I'd bet you have some recommendations on what a beginning hobbits who would like to be able to advance without purchasing a replacement as skills and projects progress. I'm mechanically inclined but a beginner in every other respect.
