Assembling this gun today. Doing final work on the trigger block.

This is an old order, and Mr. Butler has been a friend to extend his patience so long. I appreciate it.

Had a go around with pain meds lately. Has caused a lot of problems. But - I think it's improved now. All this stuff is pretty powerful. When it's out of balance, it's no picnic. All the while, I'm working and making sure standards are met.

This is going to be a fine pc. Should have the action firing in a couple/few days. It's all blued. Still is a time consuming pc. to put together. I'll chronicle with pics.

Getting some dinner now. Might get a few pics afterwards.

Hi Jim,

Thanks. take a bow

Worked all day, on the trigger block "stuff" inside. Always takes longer than I want it to. Always turns out nice.

Slower today than I'd like. Dragging a shoulder. Doc tomorrow for that.

We'll get it shooting soon.

Neat photo layout! Why all the erasers? You don't make mistakes, do you?more innocent

When I look closely, I can see you sneaking up for the pic.

Thanks for sharing,

Kent

No wonder your shoulder hurts, if you've been doing all your polishing with a pink eraser. grinning smiley

Got all the internal levers, springs, connectors, etc., built and installed. These always take longer than it appears. Keeping it all thin and neat is more work.

I see what you mean by "thin and neat". Very nice! Easy for us to ignore the workings hidden away in there.
Cheers
