Figured that would be easy to search. winking smiley I thought I'd bring you up to date, and then I don't think I'll talk about it any more.

I saw my pain specialist this morning. He had the results of the two MRIs I had taken Friday. Summary: My spine is worse now than it was four years ago. Some of the damage is significant, including a piece of Vertebrae which is broken off and pressing on the nerve root. That's new, along with progressive damage to previous issues. There are three major nerve roots involved. They branch out like vines, and go all over the place. That's why I get intense pain in many locations, and not just where the damage has occured. I will start a new series of Epidural Injections tomorrow, and continue over six weeks. That's always helped.

OK. 'nuf said. My intention has been to help explain: Why I'm not as frisky as I used to be. Much of the reason things are late. Most of the reasons why I cannot project the future.

I'll be in the shop, and I'll be pleased if you enjoy the work I produce.

Thanks for checking in,
Gary

Ouch Gary, no wonder you haven't good lately. Are they thinking of surgery at all, or is it too dangerous?
Good luck with the epidurals, hope they do the trick!

Gary :

Sorry to hear about the results of the MRI. I hope the injections help with the pain. Take it easy and try not to overdue it.

God Bless,

Karl

Sorry to hear that Gary. It doesn't sound like an issue that has anything to do with how you try and protect your back or limit risky actions. Heck, I've been warned a zillion times to lift properly or I might sprain something...I've NEVER been told that working too hard will make a bit of vertebre fall off and cause me agony I can do nothing about except take drugs.

Nuts.
