How's this. This is a pic of Kelly's laptop screen, so the resolution is poor. And, the whole thing was taken down to about 150k to post here. It's a pic I took from our front porch, with Kelly's Nikon a few minutes ago.

Amazing.

Hey, I have my Aps loaded and I'm doing all this with my new phone.

Hi Gary,

Which Nikon model did you used to take this picture? Also, which lens?

Thanks,

Julio

Hi Julio

I'll get the model no. Later. I'm at the shop. It's a great model. NOT one of the real expensive ones. It comes fixed with a high telescopic stabalized lens. I got her a more expensive one years ago that didn't have 10% of the features of this one. Her Christmas gift a couple of years back.

Wonderful camera. She is quite good using it herself. Great pics.

Hello Julio,

Nikon COOLPIX P510

I'm sure there are newer generations of the same concept now.

We have thought it was a wonderful tool for the cost. thumbs up

Thanks Gary, my daughter is interested in starting the photography hobby. She prefers taking pictures like the one that Kelly took.

Thanks again,

Hi Julio,

That camera is very user friendly for a good price. It's also capible of the finest pics. Someone may know of a better one, but for my experience, this is great. This is a larger camera - the typical Full size camera. For something that would fit in a purse, the Coolpix series has great rectangle thin units that have an extending lens and reach out very well. For Moon Shots though, you need the bigger camera.

Enjoy,

Gary

Wow, Incredible.. wish i had that when i was a kid. Had a cheap Tacso telescope and the images never looked like that.

That is amazing. Technology these days, wow. Perhaps if Kelly points her camera toward Canada, she can see me waving? Haha.

Thanks for sharing,

Pedro

Well Pedro,
Canada is about 229,000 miles CLOSER so I wouldn't doubt it! Haha.
