I forgot I had made 308 deep hollow points some time back bethought I'd do a quick test.

91.46 grains. I set up a section of 4 by 4 treated post across from my chronology, within the floor to ceiling plate steel trap.



They flew at 983 fps for 192.3 foot pounds.



Look at the compression wave and how it's totally piled up and opened to nearly 5/8"

It moved a bunch of wood. I'll include it in the final testing at the range.

That's definately moving right along, and excellent penetration for a hollow point.

Imagine what it would do with a jug full of water, "Julio Style".
