Pieces showing the “bark” or natural outer textures. Some types can be highly desirable in the Bark state. But not just the delaminated scruffy stuff.



Ok .... Starting to see the interior, colors, and condition. Some will just be a cracked up mess. Some poor in solid consistency. But the good stuff - ahhh - is dense, colorful, stable, beautiful!



NOW!!! Now we are making Mammoth! Yeah. But you had to get to this point.

Hey ... can’t ya just buy it all finished. Yes ... here’s one now ......



Pretty. Huh. Lots of work though. Hard to appreciate what’s involved.

It's amazing to say the least . All the polishing and sanding and buffing really brings out the best AND I'd think you gotta kinda guess what it will look like or do testing prior to assembly. I would think no 2 pieces will be the same ever !
