I’ll next be doing the contrast. (Black background in the engraving depths). It will accent the Ebony in the Inlay too.

The Ancient Walrus Tusk Ivory will be polished. The whole knife will light up.

The blade will be bright finished.

Hi Scott,

This evening it really came together. I should finish tomorrow.

I’m still questioning the contrast or bright on the carving. Plan to decide after polishing the Walrus Mosaic. After the last pass thru the carving, and it’s accompanying polish and cleaning ... I think the bolsters look dynamite. However; for decades the background contrast has always been most clear when dark. Yet as is ...there is a great contrasting play between the mirror polished vines and satin grey background. The sheen on the mosaic will tell.

It is gonna be a worthy knife.

Remember how saaaaaad you were when you lost those other couple knives. Frowny face. Haha.
