I decided on shrimp chowder . Now I know that wasn't a choice but I've alway been against the grain . My son came home from school for a short visit and since I LOVE to cook , I always surprise him with great home cooked meals . When we were at the last skeeter shoot Kent made an amazing shrimp bisque that my boy loved .
Bisque is a smooth soup highly flavored . Chowder is very chunky so I made a couple of gallons of shrimp chowder . Chunky bits to fill up a growing young man and easy to take back with and heat up .

I talk about your food often because being a northerner it's not authentic when we get any restaurant French/ Cajun / southern food . Thanks for the great memories .


Ps : I was thinking all day of what I could make easy for dinner after working a 16 hr shift .
