I enjoyed that bench



At that time, I built a staircase in the 10-12' workshop ceiling .... up to the apartment above where my very young family resided. A building built by my Grandfather with the purpose of storing his school busses underneath (accessible from ground level in the back thru huge doors) and with two story duplex apartments above (ground level and street level out front). I had my staircase come up into a closet under the second floor staircase.



Not the knife sticking in the bench - but the one in my hands in the kitchen above.

We've found sooooo many albums lately.

Albums are always fun during the holidays .i see in the old days you had to work by oil lamp huh ??
The old pics make me always think hmmmm youth or wisdom . Sometimes you know the youth looks pretty good but as we all know with age comes wisdom and well it ain't all that bad !
