That is going to be perfect. The blade is outta this world and the handle is industructable. You said you were making a holster for it too ? Is it going to be used by an active military personal ? If so I'm sure it would out work anything around .

I remember seeing one you had started laying around down there and Lon was all about how cool it was . Now I can see your and his vision about how great they can be . I'm not into the more fantasy style but this would be first on my grab list if the Zombie.... well you know

Thanks

Hello Kurt,

It’s going into Military Service.

I hope it lends Safety, Honor, and a Link to Home; to his Service to our Country.

Gary, That's a wonderful knife! You've hit the balance point described by the original designer of the SAS fighting dagger, but you knew that was where it was supposed to be. The camo handle is accented beautifully by the brass spacers.

Balance really makes a difference.

Kydex almost done. I got held up over rivets. Made some tooling in order to have the right thing for the stress points.

Simple, clean, beautiful. I do like the handle material on such a functional knife. Great Job!!!!!

Thanks Guys.

I’ve worked hard to make it into a proper and functional tool.

The handle components are sanded to a soft satin. The plan has been to buff them now. The difference in perceived value between buffed and unbuffed would 100%. But the satin looks great already. I’ll experiment to make certain the grip is best. I have found that the Tusk has the unique characteristic of NOT being slippery when polished. The components of the laminate and the bonding agent wear at just slightly different rates ... providing a micro-texture. It’s a very unique material. I wish I could raise its general appreciation level. It has so much invested thought, time, color choices, pattern choices and labor by the artist. So much more unique and tied to the artist than just one more piece of something else. “It’s not just for the toolbox anymore!” Haha.

Thanks for reading.
ESPECIALLY thanks for commenting.
