Then the metal chips begin



Now the Contrast Oxide process to darken the cut details.

Now the side will be permanently darkened down inside the engraving. Here it is “as engraved”. And that alone is great, but you must view it at a certain angle. At other angles, the engraving is bright and blends in. After darkening, it will show at all angles.





Filework on the back. The blade is being finished in a frosted glass beading.
