A series of my Pack Knives. The first three Prototypes from my new Hollow Grinding Jig.

I wanted to finish a few to offer, and I’ll try to do the Pistols and those together. It’s all been refreshing my memory to the shop drawings, the jigs I use, the math/geometry for those parts. The particular centers, drills, counter bores, pilot drills, reamers I use; to achieve various parts. It’s all Rocket Science and Magic Sharpies ya know. And it’s amazing the familiarization curve required to switch from one thing to another.

I’ve made friends with my new Creation. Even named him “Mr. Robot.” Closest thing to automation I have. Hand built linear scanning articulating attachment to a handbuilt 40 plus year old grinder. Ok, it’s getting crazy now ... haha.
