These have all been in the Field (in customer pockets) for years. The newest Saddleback is maybe 4 years old. The Green Self Frame 97 is about 7-8 years old. The Barlow is about 12 years old. My Saddleback FAUX PAS is about 30 years old.

It just happened a friend mentioned his in conversation. I asked for a pic. Another friend sent me a pic out of the blue. I got a pic of two that way. And I had mine here. Was great fun to see them!!!

Enjoy.

Please send your pic along or post it here!!!

Here ya GO
this is TRULY straight outta my pocket !
I’ve carried this since I bought it except for about one month I swapped out the ole tactical skeeter tusk !

I call BS on Big Bore ! I don’t think he had that knife in his pocket!

angry with "no" sign

I’ve got coins jammed between the blade where I had to push them out with another coin . This is really the best knife EVER ! If you look closely you can see a dragon engraved in the blade . If you ASK me if I have a knife I’ll offer to cut anything but never pass it off for use .
A man’s got to know his limitations

Thanks
Kurt

COI- KaCOINS jammed in the works!!!! Good GRIEF Kurt. Haha. Well, by Golly that’s something I’m gonna have to include in my next brochure!

And, now I might have seen or imagined Lon carrying that knife in his pocket, or between his teeth while descending a rope ...

Anybody else carrying their Barnes. There are about 1,440 of them out there ...

Thanks guys and gals.

Kurt,

Ya caught me. The knife does have an interesting story though. Gary slipped it to me in one of his tomato sandwiches--leftover from when Kelly was visiting the kids out of town--when I was in prison and it saved my bacon during a riot. Glad I finally got that off my chest. That's just between us guys though. Gary, bowing.

Ahhh!!! Thanks for posting that Rick! That’s made my day. I’m so glad you like it. I enjoy closing then too. Push the button and it’s like they know you are finished. They close and lock as if by an invisible hand.

Enjoy my friend!

Love the photos! Those etched blades acquire a very nice semi-polish/patina with use, don’t they? The colors on the saddleback spring are fantastic too
