Cold forged Bail. To make a Pendant like this, the materials must be “Annealed” about 5 times during the process. If you work the material once work hardening has taken place, it will break/shatter like a baked Clay Pot! So; you must carefully return the metal to it’s annealed State. It’s not “Rocket Surgery” ... ;?) but ... it’s master grade work.

Mermaid. Face of Pendant is 1 15/16” tall. A Mermaid is a difficult subject. Add a tail fin section to a pretty woman and keep it feminine. If you can pull off a drawing, then carve it backwards in steel ... and keep your features true. It’s quite a task. $50 plus postage please.


Sea Turtle. 1 7/8” Face. Hammered Rippled Water background. Cold Forged Bail.
