We were honored to have Peter visit, from Canada; for several days. We had a fine visit.

We did some Range Shooting, and enjoyed the shop as well.

I believe these “Liberty Cases” will be something special. I’m pleased that the die carving turned out well. Just to remind you, the die which produces the impression on this Nickel Silver (German Silver), must be the negative of the desired print. Thus, up
Is down, right is left, prominate, is recessed. And it’s all carved into Tool Steel which must be properly heat treated.
Another note if interest. This is hand carved ... on a 1 to 1 Scale. There is no advantage of lever/gear reduction such as with a Pantograph.

Thank you for making the time, I know it wasn’t easy on you doing all the preparations in order for me to shoot a few rounds. The action, 2 stage trigger, and shear power of the Outrider 50 CAL was something.

Watching you make the pill case and understanding the process was enjoyable. Don’t worry, your secrets will stay with me and thanks for not following through with “now that you know my secrets, only one of us can leave the shop”. I think my family would miss me haha.

Looking forward to seeing the case come together.

I enjoy making the tooling necessary to precisely bend and mold the sheet into 3 dimensional components. There is a whole wheelbarrow full of jigs, Dies, frame clamps, and assorted specialized tools; required to accurately make the entire case, hinges, and catch - all from one piece of flat stock. The project stacks up - meaning you don’t want to ruin step 15 cause it will mean you loose steps 1-14!!!

But the end results are so enjoyable. If you don’t do any more then turn it over like a worry Stone, and open and snap it shut ... it’s therapeutic!
