Broken like a walnut shell upon arrival. Been in the shop waiting ... hoping to be noticed.
I have it all restored, and am laying on the finish coats. Will go back out soon.

Yeah ... it was figured walnut. I had to pain in those color stripes to cover the repairs ...

Great job, I know the owner will be thrilled to see the results of your painstaking attention to detail. Is he going to pick it up in person or risk the USPS "inspection" again?
