The Victory still shines

The Victory still shines

Got out with the Barnes 32 cal Victory. Had a predator call in my pocket. The pitch was close enough for me to mimic a crow and this one stopped by to take a look. It was about 40 yards away at the top of a pecan tree. Dropped it with one Hornady 32 cal buckshot.

Even though this is Kelli's gun, also our first Barnes, it's always been one of my favorites.

Not easy to get near one of those birds either - they are so jumpy.

Looks like the Victory did it's job. grinning smiley It sure has been enjoyed through the years. It's a real pleasure to see it out!

Thanks for your post. (You don't have to buy my house now! rolling happy smiley I'll ask Joebill .... ) hehehe.

Good shooting and Gary is right, dang Crows are some tough hunting birds.

It wasn't the call that lured him in, it was that PURDY gun...lol! He wanted a closer look at all that detaillaughing

Good shooting/hunting
