Here's some action from Barnes Woodsman .62. This is a smoothbore and my favorite slug for it comes in at 545gr and that yields over 450 FPE.

Just because it's a smoothie doesn't mean it can't be accurate! This is the best group I've shot (at 40yds) with the gun but it mostly blows things up besides paper. Routine groups of less than 2" at 50yds can be produced with the custom slugs.

That's a stack of slugs in that 4x4. It's hard to see but they are about an inch and a half deep.

This 2x8 was shot at 40yds to check penetration. Looks like they go through alright.

Oh yeah, those big slugs go through and just keep on going.

That's the back of the pan after one shot. The third shot actually hit within a quarter inch of the first and just blew through...

So - it shot right thru a frying pan ... that reminds me ... gotta try to find a pic from years ago. Another frying pan from Holland ...
