New build PICS

Hey guys,

Just to jump away from the FULL-AUTO stuff. I recently (like last week)
took a scrapped-out Tippmann Model 98 I bought for 10 bucks
and cut into it a bit. Put in a small feed block, mag.-well/release,
forestock w/mounted tank adapter, ( butt-stock also home-made),
lengthened a barrel from brass tubing & Electrical conduit/pvc,
with orig. barrel attachment & a few nuts-n-bolts/misc. parts and
made a decent semi-auto .177 cal. BB Rifle.

It accepts one of the several 30-round BB mags I also made
(for the pneumatic SMGs'). Still have some touching up to do on the Mag.-well
but this airgun shoots VERY well. decent accuracy at 100 feet, don't need to
"re-cock" as it's 'blow-back' action anyways. Thought I'd show some pics.
It's a great fun build for me. A powerful punch! Fires as fast as you can
pull the trigger too. Hope you like it, it CAN easily
be switched to full-auto (should I go there...).self-hammer

Take care guys, Aim-sharp & shoot safely!

Brandon M.

Thank you for checkin it out. I'm not the greatest air-gun builder/designer,
but EVERY air-gun I do build works well & fires even better. I'm open to ANY
build ideas and tips.

Awesome. Thank you for checkin em' out. I'm always building something. Whether it's RPG's using PVC & model rocket engines or pneumatic machineguns...Air-guns happen to be a hobby of mine.Yours too, I understand & appreciate. Having air-gun parts kickin around certainly helps building if ya don't have machining equip.. ( I only have basic tools myself), workin on putting a decent shop together to produce some truly
nice builds. I have a mission on that. Eventually, after more builds of full-autos, I'll get there. Someday soon to produce some I can safely
manufacture/patent/sell etc. *(It's a goal I have).

Meantime, getting them to fire/feed flawlessly is where I'm at. Along with MUCH greater velocities/power.

I agree, the FELTMAN carnival air-machineguns were awesome for their time-period. I some specs. & in-depth parts photos of that
airgun, the Feltman, all torn down, parted out etc., in Mint Cond. those are valued over 2 g's. I have to say since I first fired one years ago , those helped spark interest in full-auto airguns.

more to come and definately comment, comminicate. Thank you again.

Looks like you're having some fun there!

Absolutely. Thank you. Using parts of other types of air-guns, but making it all function properly still requires alot of hours messin with
all of it. Shooting any type of airgun that you-yourself put together by hand is kinda cool really.

Now you just gotta set up a range with your own red-star targets and a bunch of stuffed animals. Carnys optional, of course. grinning smiley

Absolutely, Carni-shot set-up really ain't such a bad idea...ppl love shooting at just about anything for a buck or two.
Those old carnival "Tommy-Guns" are still kinda impressive.

Thank you for the workmanship compliments. Someday soon I'll have a better shop, better gear to make better airguns.
Maybe a Smithy, maybe just the newer 'bench-top' lathes/mills. Hey there's better builds than mine seen all over this site,
impressive and I wish I had some of the helpful talent.

It's surprising what ya can do with a dremmel & some decent Milwaukee drills, assorted hand tools.

Nice workmanship Brandon. I bet those are a lot of fun to shoot. What's your favorite reactive target?

Thanks for sharing,
