Gary, Glad to hear that. Good for you. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I woke up in a crap mood. I bought some electronic video converter on line, it arrived and did not work, and it was made in..... (hint not the USA). I spent all day yesterday trying to get the instructions and the wiring diagram on line and then called their support number here in the Philippines. After 90 mins and I am not kidding, (just put the phone on speaker and listened to theiby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Even with one "fuzzy" eye I can see that is something a step above. Hard work and getting over those problems produced not just a knife or a tool but moved the bar up for everyone else. It is a wonder to see. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, After 1 year can you sue for visitation rights? Maybe just weekends? Maybe look for a local used truck? Options are limited till you get that running and safe. Sigh. Good luck. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey Gary, After a while saying, great, lovely, true art, and what a Master Craftsman you are does not say enough. That simple line of photos is not just some work you did as we all know. But I am out of words. But those are great, lovely, true art, and this will have to do till I get better words. I looked at them for many minutes. Thanks for that. Gary, Had a rough week and that answer to my wood blade comment made me laugh out loud. Thanks. I am much better now. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I would guess that most of us here had no idea of how wood can expand, move, and change with weather and temp. I see that your new skeeter tusk is much more stable and workable for the type of knives you make. Hope we did not crush you too bad when we all liked wood. I don't think any of us thought we just answered what came to mind. hmmmmm wood blade with a metal handle. Iby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey Gary and Kurt, Got back from the Doctor and I just a small cataract in my left eye. The Doc was funny and said it was not ripe for cutting it out yet. I got drops for dry eyes. sigh. But she said the rest of the eyes were healthy and no damage at all except the Cataract. So I am OK for a while. But the symptoms were really strange and somewhat shocking but just another thing toby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, By natural blade on the new hunter do you mean stone or high tech flint? ha ha .. Should be a hit. Cannot wait to see you put your logo on the blade. Well you did ask us.. Sorry Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Kurt, Cats are cool and strange. I hope this one never bites or scratches me. I hit the Doctors today. Let you know how it goes. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Sorry about your Dog. I had a Female Grey Hound in Va. She was a former racer. What lovely calm and loving dogs. She died in her sleep at 9 years old. She was not even sick just seemed a bit lazy that day and even ate dinner. So this is my first pet (other than fish, spiders, and some rats) at the old farm. ha ha .. Hard to train fish or to hang around with them. ha ha .. Iby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I am taking your advice and not feeding this cat except once in the evening and not that much. I like the cat but I do not want to get bit or scratched by her. So we have a deal, she don't bite or scratch me and I won't do that to her. Well that is my deal I hope she figures it out. ha ha. But she is a talker whenever she sees me. Be safe. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, you never made a knife I would not be proud to own and carry. But I like natural and wood too. I saw local guy who makes crap knives but he made a great set of scales or handles from local coco bolo wood. It was very white like cheap pine but the dark strips were dark chocolate and evenly spaced. He said he will never work with Coco Bolo again it made him breakout and even had a fevby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Here a couple of photos of the white cat that adopted me here in the Philippines. I moved to a nice secure subdivision with 10' walls and the guards carry local made M-16's (yes full auto, and suppressed) and they drive around the subdivision at night in electric carts. I had just moved in and was sitting directly on the cement pad in front of my house and this white cat saw me anby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Glad you are feeling better. I loved all the work and the picks are great looking. I have a cat who adopted me too. White with one blue and one green eye. Photos to follow it is raining hard here and she is not around. Sorry but I am with Kurt on the Lima beans. Keep up the great work. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I told that story a few times to other Americans it had the same effect on them. But hey a Mango is expensive here that is why people steal them. I will have to write this story on Word and cut and paste it here. I am back to work here after the project tried to save money buying equipment in China. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I will look into it but you hard going to need another shed the size of the one you built with lots of cooling for those tubes. But I know how you feel, here in the Philippines it is all 240 volts (give or take 20 volts) in 60 cycles, with two and only two wires of 120 volts AC each. Hey ground is way over rated anyway right? So when lightning hits it takes out a few blocks lookingby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kurt, Great find I am happy for you. I knew a garage that had a sign on the wall "$25 an hour, $45 an hour if you watch, If you help $100 an hour. I would have paid the Watch fee to see a guy like him or Gary work on Airguns. I feel sorry the poor squirrels in your area.. NOT! Enjoy your find. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, What a huge difference. Think how long you have breathing that stuff just changing filters and just standing around after you work but before the room clears. This should really help you. Have a Great New Year, Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Good one. There are lots of boats here if that happens I would head for a sailboat. Well looks good on paper anyway. Have a Zombie free Holiday Season.. I hope. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, The ideas for your new hood for salesmen and other door knockers is great. If they ask to see the "man of the house" just have Kelly lead you to the door wearing the hood and dragging the hose as you walk slowly to the door. I agree it should turn off the best salesman. Great job on the design and there are several company's with small wireless speakers that would fit in there.by LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Thanks, I hope you are getting better. Been watching Walking Dead for 3 hours and I already hate *#*&% Zombies. Locked my door twice, got a kitchen knife by the bed, so it did not effect me at all. ha ha .. Merry Christmas to you both. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
rotorhead Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > I tell you, once we got away from spark-gap > transmitters it all went downhill from there... That is a quote that would make a great T-Shirt for Audio guys. A great quote really make me laugh. It is Christmas Eve here 2;11 PM Marry Christmas to all. I am a bit ahead of the USA. Gary, You were safe unless they baked the clay and mailed it to the Guys with all those letters instead of names. Scary really. Get well. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, That is the way better living through chemistry. I am great here the town is closed as of Christmas eve till Monday but I am stocked up and ready with 5 seasons of walking dead. Well I don't have TV .. Glad you are on the mend. Take care, Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey guys, Hello Kurt I will show my age, in 1966 I bought a new Wollensak 5280 reel to reel tape recorder on sale for $205 dollars of my own money I saved mowing lawns and doing odd jobs. It was great, it was stereo, I could read a book by all the dial lights, I could heat my room from the tubes and transformers, or keep a cup of tea warm by sitting it on top. Now that is a great tape machinby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey Gary, I took a boat from Manila to Dumaguete Philippines. I took the Ship because I like boats and ships and I had 500 pound limit on my bags meaning I could bring my tools and maybe a small anvil. ha ha .. The trip was set back a day because of a large low pressure and after it the water between the islands was really like a small lake on a calm day other than the hum of the dieselsby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey Kent, The frame is great. Just a thought and I could be as wrong as Shipping Plastic but I built a dozen or so Greenhouses here and the plastic I get for them is UV safe and we pull it tight on the hoop houses and some are 4 years old and still tight. True they hardly ever hit rocks but several have been abused by trees, broken wires, and a few typhoones and held up. I am not saying iby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Excuse me... I will have what he is having please. Good one Gary. Larryby LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, As you know I am packing to move a bit South in the Philippines for a job then back to the U.S. if it is still there. TV? I don't own one here. I have a Large Monitor without a tuner. I use it to watch series on DVD, movies, and American Pickers on DVD. My computer Monitor is 21 inch not big sitting at my desk that is OK and I watch videos on Aquaponics, farming, composting,by LarryinAsia - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
