I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th. We had some family and friends over...while our neighbor launched big mortars and other fireworks for over two hours! They were better than the county fireworks display. Can't imagine what it must have cost. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary It's amazing the variety of styles within a single model type. Like Larry said, words cannot do justice to the artistry displayed. I am really looking forward to the rest of the rest of the pics you find. I remember a vast array of knife types that were done in the past. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Just gorgeous! I wonder who the lucky new owner will be?by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I know you didn't ask me for my opinion here...but I have to say that this is shaping up to be one of your best. Excepting mine of course...by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Sounds like a good plan, considering. I hope you make it through without much damage. . Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Gary: Glad to hear that you are making progress on getting your bluing shop up and running. I don't envy you the work though. I just spent a weekend getting some things organized and it was enough for me. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, If it weren't for bad luck.... Keep pushing on.by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Wow, that sucks. I hope some justice prevailed in this instance. ..though I suspect it didn't. It sometimes disheartens me what people do just for the money.by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I think it's a beautiful knife with some eye catching file work. It's still available? Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I've been around here a long time, though I comment rarely. I enjoy all of the posts. I guess the "I know you did great work in the past but what have you done for me lately " syndrome is prevalent everywhere these days. I run into it myself in my job. It makes you shake your head in disappointment. Loyalty, compassion, even good manners are going the way of the Dodo. People arby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Happy belated Easter. Grandkids keep everything in perspective, that's for sure. I hope you all had a wonderful time with them. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, It looks great. I'm sure Sal will be thrilled. Can't wait to see the whole project. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kurt, I know what you mean. I have 2 sets of kitchen knives, a Wustoff set I received as a gift that everyone uses and my various Japanese Knives that I purchased over the years that no one uses...but me. They don't go in the dishwasher . The German knives? I rescue them when I can..but it's a full time job just keeping them sharp.by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : love the knife! The details are quite striking and fit the overall design well. I wonder who the new owner is? Wish it was me. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Yeah, that's kind of wierd. I'm sorry to hear that you suffer that way. I hate headaches. I can work with any other pain but that. I just can't focus. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Thanks for sharing. I wonder if/when it will resurface? Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Gary, Relieved to see that you made it through the storm safely. We just caught a portion of the wind and rain. From the pictures I've seen, it was a really dangerous storm. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Those meals look delicious. My wife's making Spare Ribs tonight. Getting hungry smelling them cook! ! I like the display too; the turtle looks mischievous. I wish you well on these side endeavors and I for one hope that you continue to post all of your work. I enjoy seeing them.by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kurt, Sad news, I didn't know he'd passed! I bought a Crosman 102 from him several years ago. He was a good guy. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Kurt, What a great find. That is my favorite Crossman Airgun by far. It was the inspiration for the qb77/78 rifles that you can still buy today..though they are not nearly as nice. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Merry Christmas! Take care of yourself and get some rest among all the festivities. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
