Thanks for the education. I had never heard of "Tiger Stripe Walnut", beautiful wood ! I might have to see if can get a piece and do something with it ? Thanks, Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Beautiful Wood Gary ! Is that like quarter sawn Oak , but done with Walnut ? Nice figuring and another very nice Lock Back Folder ! Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yes, while I am still south playing SnowBird from upper MI , I just have my Shotguns to play with. When I get home we'll break out the RWS pellet rifle and the 308 Hawke if I have air left! I have to check and see if I have enough time to recharge the tank before the Expiration date on the tank expires ! You have to keep the pellet rifle tuned up to take care of the Pests! That is a very nice piece! I really like the etched blade and the dolled up walnut ! I would have thought this would be gone by know? I don't know what to tell you to build to get the clientele to part with some of their hard earned dollars! Keep after it my friend. Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very Nice Knife Gary ! I like the blade design / etching and the Handle carving. Somebody is going to get a really nice heirloom Knife! Nice job , Bobby robert gillstrom - Gary's Galleries
Awesome Target, you got a love making one ragged hole with a new light slug design and a low power scope that was never sighted in !! Can hardly wait too see how the other Slugs group. Great job Gary. Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You are the Craftsman ! I do some wood working and I can't see how I would cut the inlet for that ring in a stock, yet alone do it perfectly ! Something had to move in a perfect semi-circle, a cutter or the stock, to make that inlay. That brass ring is awesome in its own right. Very nice Gary. Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Fine looking Barnes specimen ! Can't hardly wait to see the grouping and the testing of the variety of 50 cal slugs you have. That appears to be a very reasonable price for a air rifle of this quality and caliber ! Great job, Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looking good ! I bet you can hardly wait to get that baby out to the range ! Awesome job, Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looking GOOD! you must have the sharpest tool cutters that I have seen ! You got to love it when the stock comes together the first iteration. Good job my friend! Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Since you explained the process to accomplish the engraving it makes it all that more an impressive feat! Not for the common man with a rotary engraver!! Looks Awesome Gary. Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice Belt, I like the Blue color! I like the oil caps on the pillar bearings, that's old school ! I thought idler pulleys were supposed to be spring loaded to make changing belts easier, but since you only do it every 40 years why make things more complicated ! Merry Christmas to you and Ms.Kelly Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Our prayers go out for you, Miss Kelly and the rest of the affected area for this Hurricane. Stay safe Gary, Love you guys. Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very nice knife Gary. I really like the way the Titanium onlay sets off the Walrus Tusk scale ! Kelly did a great job picking the Titanium color! Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That Knife is just totally AWESOME !!!! Quite the Masterpiece, you can look at it for hours and find new details you haven't seen before ! Awesome Gary, I don't know how you can top that , but I am sure you will. Thanks, Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I have showing off my knife to my friends, they all say its beautiful and sharp! I was asked what the material was that the Wooly Mammoth was attached to. I didn't know so I guessed Epoxy with some metallic component that can be polished? If its not a trade secret what is that material? Thanks again, I love the knife. Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I bet Gary L can hardly wait to see the finished product !! I can hardly wait to see it myself ! I am also sure you will be glad to have another card with all the tasks completed on It!! YEA Great Job on this one Gary. Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Just received the knife from USPS. As is always said it is better in real life than the pictures. The Mammoth scales have way more depth to the grain that you can't see in the picts, and yes it is very sharp !!! Beautiful piece. Jana really likes the Pendant, it will go with some of the jewelry she bought on our trip out west! How did you know?? She did ask me about the Logo on the knife,by robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great news, I can show it off at the Club shoot out on Saturday!! Can hardly wait, Thanks Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Gary, I think that is one of your best( to date ) engraving on a knife! Awsome job!! Who ever bought it will have to walk around with a magnifying glass to show people the true details of the engraving! Plus the inlay work is Outstanding ! Love it, Bobby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Jana said she is PROUD to be the spokesmodel for the BPS spalted pendants! Some people have thought it was etched that way and then Jana turns it over and shows them it was a slice of wood with the Tree of Life on both sides! Thank You for seeing this humbling display from nature, and making it come to Life! Thanks Bob & Janaby robert gillstrom - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
