Very nice pendants Gary, I'm happy to hear the shop is doing well. There is a place we visited while docked in the Keys a while back that had some really nice hand made items, I wish I'd been able to pick up an item or two. I imagine a tourist really cherishing something like that to remember their visit. Totally random off topic comment incoming. I think you showed me this in the back room of your shop last year? Is this the one with the real nice chatoyance right? Pictures just don't do it justice.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow, I bet that was fun to shoot! It's hard to imagine 225 fpe from something so small.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looks like the weather turned out much better this year. It's nice to see familiar faces and some new ones too! Don't worry Kurt, my kids did the same thing last year and my drive was only 4.5 hours, LOL. I hope we get some nice weather during the kids break, I have the air tanks full and ready to do some long awaited shooting. Looking forward to seeing some more pics!by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hey Kent! Can you see that polar bear carving? I think you need some of that special magic ink to reveal the engraving. Congratulations!by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Gary, I'm sure the new folks appreciate the synopsis, quite a bit of history there. That last picture is of a knife I just bought, I love it. I really do appreciate all the opportunities to buy something special. This is something that I couldn't do in years past and my family and I cherish every piece of jewelry, knife, trinket etc that we have been able to pick up over the past few yeby Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You are definitely a Santa shoe in. I wouldn't be surprised if Hollywood was knocking down your door for a part in the next Christmas movie!by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks for the update Gary, I'm very happy to hear you are finding some relief, been thinking about you often.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very nice Gary! Around here we would fill them with M&Ms. I think they make great gifts.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary uses one of those steam punk magnifying glass on top of magnifying glass contraptions on top of a head mounted nutty professor style magnifying goggles to see what he's doing. The vertigo inducing magnification is superceeded only by the cocktail of neuro stabilizers to keep his hands steady like one of those robotic assist brain surgeons. Just saying Really nice work Gary! The firstby Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, you are the complete package. I get up to send the oldest off to school and while eating breakfast (reading this post) I just manage to keep from spraying coffee all over the kitchen. That first picture reflects my sentiments as well. It is a beautiful dragon you have there, the detail is..... ridiculous. Using that as a medallion on the lid of the knife box is a really cool idea. I thby Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very nice Gary! The engraving on the lid is a really nice touch. When you mentioned you were making boxes for a few knives I did not imagine something so elegant.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I think the looks are fantastic, there HAS to be someone out there that would love to own these. The problem with me is I've had the same belt for at least 15 years, the things just don't wear out. Some people collect knives, rocks, air guns, shoes, ties, even belts. Me? I'm an air gun and now knife guy (does two count as a collection yet? lol) While I really do like the look and really apby Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Good luck Gary, I hope all goes well and the pain gets taken down to tolerable levels (pain free would be great too). I am happy to hear the eye sight is doing better, having things floating around would be maddening. I'd be swatting at imaginary flies all day, proving to everyone that I'd finally cracked.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I just can't pass this up, I really liked the one I gave my brother in law. How much was shipping last time $12-15? Check will be in the mail Monday. Thanks Gary!by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow! Good going Kurt! Very nice Gary, sorry to see you are needing to part ways with it. Great knife and some history to boot.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Pedro, thankfully I've been blessed with very little cronic pain. About 6 years ago I was in very good shape, about 60 lbs lighter and feeling great, one day while exercising I tweaked something between my shoulder blades, thought nothing of it. I spent the next year going to massage therapy, chiropractors and ortho. It got so bad I only got relief laying down, miserable experience. One day tby Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That's looking very nice Gary, looks similar to the one I gave my brother in law, he loves it. Sorry to hear things aren't so hot, we do appreciate the honesty, this way we can at least say a prayer or wish you well. Imagine if medical tech and treatment of neck and back problems advanced at the same rate of phones, they would have a bionic option for you at this point. But then you would have to deal with neck iOS version, wifi and memory issues! I guess we can't have it all, not yet anyway. We are all pulling for you Gary, I hope there is some relief in the near future.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looking good Gary! I hope you are surviving the weather up there, we currently are only suffering from lots of rain here. They did close schools today and tomorrow however.by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very elegant knife Gary, it's going to be fantastic!by Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Looks fantastic Pedro, did you use any anti-skid mixed in with the epoxy? Previous owners used epoxy in my garage, it's a 25 year old coat and turns into an ice skating rink when it gets wet. About the lighting, many led fixtures can be used with a dimmer which is fantastic, also look for 2700K color temperature. 3000K and up started to get too blue and is honestly harsh under prolonged exposuby Sal - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
