Well....since my name was being taken in vain in the other thread.... I confess to being a wood nut, given that I am much more of a woodworker than a machinist....although I actually work on bone and muscle more than anything else It has become a little bit of a running joke with Gary, along with my other obsession - bullpups ! But I digress.... Having done a fair amount of forging (knby joebill - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hey Gary don't take BP advice , per se, from an orthopedic surgeon, but...latest thinking on BP is that not everyone needs to be 120/80. In fact, it is now recognized that some people have MORE side effects from being too low. Don't know where you were before, and I realize that you probably don't want to play this out here, and I am NOT saying high BP is OK. Pressures like 170/100 are Nby joebill - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Well, from my end I have to admit .....It's laziness on my part primarily ! I tend to "tune in" later at night right before I hit the sack...and by then I am not usually feeling too "profound " Not too mention I'm still depressed from the coldest winter in CT since 1909.... not an excuse of course - I continue to be impressed by what you've managed to accomplish Gary, especially given thby joebill - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Here's a tidbit you'll all enjoy - I'm a custom knife aficionado as well, and I've gone to a bladesmithing seminar in Ashokan NY a bunch of times. Maybe 10 years ago or so, just after I'd discovered Gary's site, I was talking with Dan Maragni, another ABS Mastersmith. He was one of the early MS as well, so I said something like " Hey, did you know Gary Barnes ?" Dan, who's a very welby joebill - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hey Gary Life can be extremely frustrating sometime and as a wise person once said, it's not what happens to you but how you deal with it that matters. Considering all the ridiculous things that have happened to you in the last few years, I'd say you've done the best you possibly could. What I really DON'T understand is how OTHER people (readers/customers/whatever) could take "personaby joebill - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Aren't you glad you left the cold northern climes for Florida? I've always been someone who really didn't mind the winter weather....but I'm thinking of changing that tune!! It's either below zero here, or it warms up for just a little while so it can snow buckets on us then, once I've plowed/shoveled things clear - the wind picks up, it all blows back, and temps drop back down again.by joebill - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
