Good song, Men's role, responsibility...

Hello,

This is way off topic but thought some of you may enjoy the lyrics and challenge all men to be the men God wants them to be.

I have to admit as a husband I fall short many times... I guess that is why the song spoke to me and thought I would share it.

Might not be your taste in music, but listen the the "prayer" in the lyrics.

Video called "Lead Me"

"So Father, give me the strength
To be everything I am called to be
Oh, Father, show me the way
To lead them
Won't you lead me?

To lead them with strong hands
To stand up when they can't
Don't want to leave them hungry for love
Chasing dreams that I could give up

I'll show them I'm willing to fight
And give them the best of my life
So we can call this out home
Lead me, 'cause I can't do this alone"

Hope you enjoyed!
God Bless!

Hello Pedro,

Thanks for your post. This is a type of honor that Pop Culture has fought for decades. It still exists. It's still correct. About 7 out of 10 people have just become numb to it's absence.

I'm with you. God Bless,
Gary

Thanks Pedro for the food for introspection. I think a real awakening is happening in this country. I pray we can find the strength to change from within so we can help make the hard course corrections to take the country back to the priniples that made us American.

Well let us hope that things will change, but we know that in the last times, men shall grow worse. There are fewer and fewer people with the faith or values that their grandparents and parents had, let alone our forefathers. Tolerance is demanded everywhere and anyone who stands for "truth" is ridiculed.

I was going to say a lot more, but feel it isn't the place to.

God Bless and encourage you in your daily life!

Pedro
