by our national sport....Rugby!!
Since 9 September 2011, all the world's best rugby nations have been battling here in NZ to take the Rugby World Cup. Little ole NZ won the inaugural cup 24 years ago, beating France in the final. We have never reached those heights since, until last night. Once again, we faced France in New Zealand, a replay of 24 years ago. It was a tight game, only 1 try (touchdown) apiece, but a penalty kick early in the second half got us home. The whole country is celebrating!
Here's some pics...France in white, and the New Zealand All Blacks, well, in black of course....
It's a small cup, but it means about everything in this rugby mad country....
