Gary,

I think the War Wagon will have to be scaled up a bit! Can we do bowling balls? excited Pumpkins seem random in size and wight going to be hard to group!

Could you put an .87 insert in there? footinmouth

Sign me up for the team!

Hi Neil,

When they shoot a pumpkin that bursts upon leaving the barrel .... they call it ... to "Pie".

Must be fun to have a group of friends working on a fun project and have the place to do it. I have a great design for a pumpkin cannon in the back room of my brain .... just none of the other critical components.

Hehe, Gary, it worries me that you are thinking of this.....based on the Barracuda and other Barnes designs, I suspect there will be vaporised pumpkin everywhere, no good for soup or pie, maybe useful as a moisturizer in a beauty spa...pumpkin facial maskJack-O-Lantern

Gary I agree and suggest you design and build for the standard 16 pound bowling ball! This would not be the first smooth bore you designed and built that shoots great groups! Like to see your first 4,000 foot group! But you will need bigger plastic pie plates. excited

Gary, I forgot the numbers on a bowling ball! Now I know that 800 fps is low for a Barnes Gun! 1 lb = 7000 grains X 16lbs = 112,000 grains at 800 fps = 159,203.98 FPE. nowthatIthink

Wow thats big!
