I’ve been working on a few of these Model 97 Pack Knives. I love mine. I hope you have read the fine reports of our other forum members who have them. Seems they love theirs too. That’s great. Both that they have/use them and that they reported same to us here. Yayyyy. Total Success. Just like a real forum!!!! I feel all grown up! Hah.

The pics will show one of the grinders I built in about 1976. Love it/them. They are still going strong. Still accurate. Tracking still works great. Belt tension belt change technique is still the best I’ve seen or used. No ... I’m hardly biased at all. Ummmmmm.

Hope you enjoy and can figure the pics from the list. The forum puts up a list of the pics being posted and lists their pixel size. But it doesn’t give a thumbnail. (Don’t tell me after 20,000 posts there’s a button to click ....
so it’s not simple to know what you are putting where, when there are several pics. Hope this works this time.

Take note of my 44 year old grinder contact wheel. I couldn’t afford those crazy 1976 prices. So I made mine. Seems I did ok! Haha. Runs accurate and true.

Among other things you ARE a master grinder . For all the years I’ve run abrasive machines it’s still very difficult and yours ( grinds ) are spot on !
