Question ... Jim ... Admin.

In the PM section ... there's an icon to add an image. However; it asks for the url of the image you wish to use. stunned

I'm lost. How do you assign a url to a pic in your picture files?

Gary,

Photobucket will copy the URL to your clipboard if you put your mouse on it and click, you should see "copied" in the space that you clicked on in Photobucket. Then paste it into the PM line.

Thanks Jim and Lon,

So - clearly ... I have to upload it to Photobucket first then. I have thousands of pics - sometimes I'd like to illustrate a PM.

Beyond that ... I understand how to copy the various forms PB offers.

Thanks.

Hi Jim,

Still wonder .... is the only way to do this ... to host the pic remotely on a public site? Has to be a more private way. I've seen how confusing PB can be to keep albums private. I don't want to withold something from the forum ... only to publicly show it to the world who stumbles across my albums.

Has to be a better way.

Hi Gary:

You could upload a pic to the glbarnes.com server (one that is not used in any page, for example), and paste its address into the PM's window when prompted. That way, it's not all over the public Internet.

Any other website would work too.
