Surely someone is going to shoot something? I've made up my first ever batch of ballistic gel. I expect I'll shoot it with a low power gun and then blow the heck out of it with the Woodsman!

I'm having 33'' long .47 smootbore in my tuned samyang 909...

Today we shot shots containing 308 grains of .1376 round balls today (strange numbers 'cause we divided shots by grams and balls were in millimetters)...

I made shots to paper shells first but then we tried to put plain round balls in the muzzle with two cotton stoppers (bore cleaners). That stopper way fitted to our purpose well.

We shot empty beer cans and different small objects: cans flied away nicely and every objects got themselves full of tiny holes.

Got out this Sunday as usual to shoot rabbits.
Bloody cold and a nasty gusting wind. It went from ' fun job' to 'job' in a real hurry!
I tend to reconn the day before to find out where the little blighters hang out, then go the next day either sun up or a couple of hours before sun down, plot up and spend a few hours clearing them.
Sitting/prone for a couple hours today was misery!
Though I did pull off a couple of 90-100 yard head shots which pleased me greatly
Job done, warren population thinned out, farmer a happy man !!
On to the next site. ROLL ON SUMMER !!!!

Lol, I don't even like rabbit so friends,neighbours,the dog and cats will feast again whilst I try and get some feeling back into my limbs........

Usually aim just above the shoulder and left a tad if hes side on, or just below the chin if hes facing me at those kind of distances. But today I went for it(between tornado gusts!)
Anyone who mentions the other two head shots that I missed is a lying scoundrel !!
