Hi Guys,

Today I found a break and went to the range with the PH 8mm. The weather was kind of messy, cloudy and with a non stop light rain falling. The wind was blowing from left to right but not in a constant way.

I was using the Twin Tail slugs, casted by Jerry’s son, at 189 grains. The PH was connected to a CF tank and the regulator was set at 3,500 psi. My plan was to shoot couple of targets at 50 yds and quickly move to the 100 yds. The scope is zeroed at 50 yds. Sorry for not writing the usual information on the targets, but they were all wet.

This was the first target shot at 50 yards. The lower shot was the first one, then I made some adjustments to the scope and made the three shots group that you see in the center of the target. Just for reference, those orange spots are 1 inch in diameter.



These next two targets were the second and third targets shot at 50 yds . Then I proceeded to move to the 100 yds.





At the 100 yds backer there was a used target left by other shooter and I decided to shoot at some areas that were clean. This first three shot group shows a double and a flyer.




This second group shows three shots touching.



In this next group, again, two shots touching and a flyer.



Not all the groups were as good as the above.





All in all I had an excellent range time. Hope that you enjoy.

I think those are called ... "groups" my friend. hahhah.

Hey - Julio is hard on stuff. hahah. He keeps breaking stuff. Actually ... this time, he's not waiting on me. He's supposed to send me the intake for the Nautilus. Something needed maintenance there.

Thanks for reminding me, I'll be mailing the Nautilus's intake valve this next week.

I would like to remark here the importance of having the right slug for the rifle. None of these groups would have been possible to achieve, if I weren't using the correct slug. I bought all the slugs for my air guns from Jerry.

They deliver consistently a high quality product and their quality control standards are superb. Jerry, thanks for the excellence in the slugs that you produce and keep doing it while you can...

Adding to the slug/accuracy topic: The MOST important piece in this quest for accuracy is, of course, having a Barnes’s air gun.
