Did a little bit of carving up the HAWG myself. No sausage ... but lots of walnut dust.

Now ... I know many like it plain brown and blue with Winchester on the side. But ... Eric likes it, so don't discourage him.















I also mentioned the required repairs to burl wood. You're looking at them. And, when complete and finished I believe they'll just be part of the mix. There's no finish at all on the wood now. Will get several coats of stock oil.

Ah ... that's the trick. haha. You use this crappy old twisted up wood, and you hide the repairs. It's really a nice spruce 2 by 4 inside. hahaha.
