First coat of oil applied. This is one of those stocks from my stock sale years ago. Nobody wanted it because I disclosed it needed repair as all Burl. So I set it aside for me. When I had need to proof concept it became the HAWG. I foolishly thoughtbit
Might be mine, so I pulled the blank and used it for me. Not a bad PC of firewood. Haha. This is some of the wood I hand picked from a super secret sawmill millwork place I found. I go there once every couple of years. (don't try to follow me, I'm wise to that).

Very pretty wood, there's a lot of highlights even with just the first rough coat.

I haven't been around for a while. But WOW, the first post I open nearly knocks me over.

My hunting case arrived. And the dimensions given were exterior. Cute. I'll just saw off the barrel a few inches.
