Guys ... Who has experience with Beeman Kodiaks in 25 cal (31 grains) compared to JSB EXACTS in 25 cal (about 25 grains)?

Any experience?

Gary

Gary,
I have used lots of the JSB Exacts and I like them a lot. I have never liked the Kodiaks and stopped using them years ago. I don't have any recent groups or chronograph information though, so I can't give you actual numbers. Sorry about that. The Kodiaks were always a bit too heavy for what I was using them in.

Jeff

Yep .... Getting ready for Sal. And I have other 25 projects going.

I've just never used the JSB. Are the head and skirt the same size?

Gary, I'll mail you a tin of each Monday. I bought some for the .25 thinking they may come in handy soon.
Just hang onto the ones you don't use winking smiley

Hi Gary,
I never have measured them. Have been working a LOT lately and will make the time to do so in the next couple of days (if Sal doesn't get them there first). They do seem to be very consistant to me though.

The head of the Kodiaks used to be .249" and the skirt .255"

Just wonder if the JSB Is the same.

Anybody?

Give me about 30 min and if I can find calipers with batteries that work I'll update.

Ah!!!! Calipers with batteries .... now THAT was an innovation. I have a drawer full of them. All dead. Always dead. And my Mitotoyo mechanical Dial Calipers have a million miles apiece on them. thumbs up

I have a blister pack of 50 coin batteries on a peg board hook if you need one. I don't have the tools to knawl thru the consumer proof packaging to use them ....

Ok here is what I have.
These are new pellets, purchased less than 6 months ago.

Beeman Kodiak head .25, skirt .255 (31.02 grains, on package, I don't own a scale)
JSB Exact King head .25, skirt .258 (25.39 grains, on package)

I measured at least 10 of each, FedEx will be delivering a container of each Tuesday.

Ha - interesting. I stuck the emoji in again this time. It showed on the draft. Not the post. But it then also rejected the rest of the text after the rejected emoji. Wonder why it worked in that other post. Where was that one ......,

Odd. Some Emojis copy to my text some don't. I thought it was that they now did in original posts, but not edits. But - not so - it's random. I shall test. There SHOULD be a Unicorn here -
