So I was cleaning out my tool box and came across a fun little item . A while ago I think someone showed how to make a microscope with a telephone camera . Well I have a very small radio shack pocket microscope and I was able to lay my phone on it to examine a Damascus carved and etched blade from Gary . This was the first md 97 I bought from Gary . Now the first picture is a view after I sharpened the edge . You can see scratches going diagonally and where the blade and edge meet .
The second picture is a random view of the blade material .
The third picture is of a part of the dragon wing Gary carved into the blade !
