Range Work Continues

Window.jpg

This morning, I installed the window in the Range Shack and completed all the siding, J channel, top drip edge, and buttoned it all up. Matches the rest of the building well.

As noted, I placed the gun port high off the ground for extra, extra, security.

From the port, it's a nice view down the range.

I removed the rest of the tall posts I was recycling.

Moved and planted those.

Then added the last of the new posts this evening. Gets dark well before quitting time. I wanted this last post to be ready in the am, so the cement had to go in tonight.

The wall will be ten feet high. It's a serpentine footprint. There will be chicken wire on both sides, laced together. I've decided to fill it with pine bark nuggets. Should do a nice job.

Stay with us - thanks for reading.

Gary, that has to be every airgunner's dream, a shooting shed on the range! I bet that range is nice and sheltered too, something that I lack...
You'll soon be singing:
"Home, home on the range, where Gary and his bigbores play..." singing
Keep up the good work!
Cheers
Neil

You know Sean ... we FOUND some bamboo growing on the lower back area. Just a few dwarf stalks - but it will probably be up to the house in a few hours. hahaha. No - God help it ... the vines will probably tie it down. haha.

Pit it against the kudzu, cage match, winner take all. Stand back though, it'll be ugly.
