Worked in the woodshop with Kelly til 11pm. Sunday night project on something needed in the house.

Walked up the lane, in tee shirt ... with the nearly full moon shining thru the pines. The cat follows me everywhere like a puppy.

When I get rid of the Maryland connection hanging there, it will have been a great choice and move. It's been a HUGE task. But the shops are becoming functional. The weather is delightful. Dec. 2nd and 75 F today. Says 54 F at 11:12 pm. I'll take that.

Not bragging. Anybody living here is experiencing the same thing. I just want to confirm that the move, thought out as it was ... has seemed to have been a very good choice for us. The enormous amount of work will have been worthwhile.

thumbs up

Well Don,

Now you are in a "Proper State" with warm weather. sunny winking smiley

I just can't get used to working in a Tee shirt in December. I'll have the garage door up halfway for extra light (since I don't have everything installed yet) .... and I'll decide to shut the door again; as having it open is making it warmer inside. Love it.

Note: actually, I think the insulation of the building is working really well. It's balanced out so that no matter whatever slight excess is experienced outside; go inside and it's moderated very close to what you want - without any heat or A/C being used. That will change, but I won't be making huge adjustments. We went thru quite a bit of fuel oil in Maryland with the large house and shop. Electric was quite substantial too. I'll miss the grandness of the house I worked so hard on up there ... but I won't miss the utilities, taxes, maintenance, and other related expenses.

I'll take economical and functional over grand any day. Especially now that I'm stuck with this house that has to much "character". eye rolling smiley
