If I understood the Weather Girl this AM ... we've had 12 inches of rain in 24 hours. Since it seems like 36 inches - that might be right. It simply won't stop raining.

There's all sorts of flood warnings around - but our property lays so that we aren't in any danger. Only danger is falling into the ruts washed by the rain into anything I've attempted to smooth out. It's also pretty hard to keep debris out of the extensive drain system installed by the previous Aquanauts who owned this place.

Hope you are all safe. I know there is extreme weather around here and there.

Happy 4th. There was a huge festival planned around our town lake, with fireworks, etc. However; I guess that's in question now. Stay safe. Have a nice holiday.
