Shooting World's Largest Caliber Firearm Video.

I don't think I'd want to try to shoot this thing, it looks like it hurts. I believe I heard them describe it as having 'over 25,000 ft lbs' of energy. Bullets are $40 each! Not nearly as cool as an airgun, but really fun to watch! It is a facebook link.

Me too, I would have liked to have known it was accurate before they took me off to hospital to repair my dislocated shoulder...injured
Hehe, that is pretty amazing Doug!
Cheers

I think it's a very accurate gun. You see, it was made by a fellow looking to beat up certain people. Gets them every time!

Hi Lon.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I figured it must be because the firing mechanism is in the bolt, and could be jarred loose when it come into registry. IF that thing fired when the guy was in the process of closing the bolt, the reaction/recoil could open the bolt. That would get lively pretty quick. Not to mention the unrestricted recoil even with the bolt closed. excited
