Just found this while tracking down a brake light that showed as out.

The bulb is good but was overheated - melted the pin into the plastic and became intermittent.

I assure you that I did not rig the burnt out fuse. And the truck was new when I bought it so ..... Experts!!!

That's just plain crazy. Glad your truck didn't go up in smoke.

Now to ask yourself what is causing the blown fuse in the first place.

Gary,

That is called fuse regeneration here in Asia. It is a form of recycling. Did they use enough wire? ha ha.. That is common to find here on used stuff. Did you say that was on your truck????? Wow

What else did it damage?

Be safe going home.

Hi Jim,

Hope the driving is done. Most of the trips included some form of drama. Sorting the details here.

Hope you all get some house touring weather up in Maryland real soon. I might have to donate the Md. house to the Daughters of The Whale Watchers of Northwest Kansas or some such worthy group ... if we can't get some warm bodies thru the place soon. Do you still control the weather up there? winking smiley

Hope you are well too. Was Sunny and 75 here today. Just like the song.

We've spent most of the winter in Tampa and managed to dodge the snow. I do have to travel back and forth quite a bit . . . going up again Tuesday night weather-permitting, though MD is supposed to get another 8-10 inches of snow starting tonight. surrender

Glad to see BPS production ramping up!
