This one has promised to hunt. thumbs up

I'm sure you have picked up that Scott was the first to snag this Prototype. The other four Brother Rifles, are in the pipe. 3 of the 5 were sold / sight unseen.

Gary

There are a few details to complete - then this rifle flies. I'm building the actions for the others. The prototype takes far longer until you have all the tools, jigs, and drawings.

Gary,

You have done great work again! wow (I'm not surprised.)
And, as stated, it will most likly provide the means for a bit of lead to meet a whitetail deer this fall. fudd
I look forward to getting it to the range and dialing it in before deer season. But, I am torn between the Leupold or the Simmons scope. Does anyone have any suggestions? confused smiley

Hi Gary,

The Outrider is a great looking rifle. That's your first rifle produced completely at BPS. Congratulations, I hope that it will be the first of many.

"I am torn between the Leupold or the Simmons scope"

Fights on! Gary is clearly the team Simmons captain and there can be no other choice for team LoopHold than Jim. Me? I'm going with the Nikon or holographic solution....

For hunting - specifically White Tail ... I'd go with a quick pointer ... The Holographic sight sounds good.

Lets be honest - your deer is most likely gonna be at around 35 yards. You don't need an $800 scope. (you could buy more stuff from me instead)

You want a clear field of view. No squinting at dusk. thumbs up
