Not exactly a gorgeous gun from our feerless leader, but it is growing on me all the same. The Airforce Texan in .45 caliber. It is right at the 500 fpe mark in power terms. They have used it down in Texas where it has accounted for quiet a mixed bag of game already, including hog, oryx, deer and a few others. I have not gotten much of a chance to ring it out thoroughly ( that cold white stuff is about 3ft deep here in NY) but as soon as we thaw out, I will hopefully get on some coyotes with it! The Picture of the gun shows the "gimme" scope they sent it with. it now wears an optisan mamba 4-12x with ballistic reticle. I really like the side lever cocking of this gun, it has some type of spring assist in the linkage( I am assuming, as I have not torn into it yet) that makes the cocking stroke almost effortless.

Wow 500 fpe. The Condor is a nice platform to experiment with different barrels, pellets and all around mods. Wish we could use airguns in Canada for hunting. Please do post some numbers and target groups when you go out. I would be interested in knowing more.
