It's all needed. I'm not going to make everything else and buy this stuff - so ... it all takes time.

People who make their own airplanes (legal, provided it's not used commercially) have a saying when it comes to this.

"The last 10% of the project is 90% of the work."

It's the little stuff that gets you.

And the last 2% is the stuff that no on else ever does. Looking good Gary.

I think people are naturally inclined to think they are closer to complete than they really are.

I would agree. Just when you think you are close, it seems there are many small things still to be done. Working in a factory with 500+ people, two shifts, seems projects are never close to being as completed as management has planned or thinks they are.
