A Model 97 that has been "On Bench" for about six months. I work it into the cracks, but have a need for show material now.

Great work Gary! Now I can see the difference between what I do with the boats and your craftsmanship. I have to look for the patterns in the veneer to remind me of a fish or face. You can take a blank material and make a delicate oak leaf, grizzly or caribou appear with pencil and blade!

Stick with SHARPIES

I started with one, and it was sort of dry and the point blunt. So I grabbed this other brand. Did the drawing. HOWEVER; the darned ink won't dry. It smears. What a mess. I may have to do it all over.

So; for Magic - stick with Sharpie!

In principle, but a pointed scraper doesn't "Flow" for laying out scrolls by hand.

Thats almost identical to the first Alloy knife gary made also with sambar scales . DEFINETLY my all time favorite !
