I LOVE this new 97 Tactical.

I have a bunch of pics. Wanted you to see the knife. I'll get back as soon as I can.

Thanks. Gary

With the colours of the scales almost looks like camouflage! Great looking knife!

Gary,
That knife turned out great love the colors of the tusk! Would not want to drop that one in the bush might never find it again! Nice work

That's a very nice looking knife. I just noticed I don't see any liners, that looks tricky smiling smiley

" I just noticed I don't see any liners"

I couldn't figure out what was different about it. Good eye.

Hi Sal,

The Skeeter Tusk is so hard, liners would be redundant or nearly so. I increased the diameter of key moving parts / stress points, so that the total surface area acted upon by those stress points, is well below the tensile strength of the material.

It allows for making a full sized folding knife, that feels surprisingly light in your hand.

If I choose to make a very slim knife, then I would still add a liner. While the material is very hard, it will still flex in thin crossections.

thumbs up

Gary

You put that one down in the woods and it's gone forever, you'll never find it against a variegated background.
